Tear Drop Blanks for Scrimshaw - Corian

I am happy I discovered DELS. I teach scrimshaw classes here in the PNW and DELS is a great source for my scrimshaw blanks. The Corian pieces are a great way for students to learn the art without the investment in real ivory. Corian behaves like ivory- it scratches well and takes the ink nicely without leaving a gray residue on the unmarked areas. The product is great and the people at DELS whom I spoken with are friendly and helpful However.... Turnover time from order to shipping is long. (Yes, even before the Covid excuse) That can present a problem when I have a class scheduled and I have allowed weeks for delivery and the package still hasn't shipped. My other minor complaint with DELS is the shipping price. A handful of Corian could be shipped in a small flat rate USPS box for half the price DELS charges. I don't know why they don't do that. If DELS improved their turnover time and adjusted their shipping, it would be perfect.
